Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenez, September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico she began her professional career by playing the character in the role of Teresa in the television series (1989-1991), as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were only a few of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's performance as Frida, the painter, in Frida (2002), which she also directed and directed, was what made Hayek the first Mexican actress to receive the Academy Award [6]. It also earned her a Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce as well as starring in action pictures Once Upon a Time in Mexico in subsequent years.
