Bellamy Young

Young's acting career started with the theater. In 1997, she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the first cast of The Life. The actress has played off-Broadway on Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) along with the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995, with a recurring part as Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. Between 1997 and 1998, she was a guest star on Law & Order, playing two parts. In film, she made her debut in 1999. Her debut film was one minor part in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in various independent films. Then, in the beginning of 2000s, she started appearing as guest-star characters on several TV comedies and dramas, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. From 2000 until 2011, Young made over 30 guest appearances in television programs. The year 2003 saw Young got a role as an actor on Peacemakers, a USA Network show Peacemakers. After nine episodes, the series stopped after a single episode. She had recurring roles in the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of As Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
