Emily Swallow

Swallow's Broadway career began by performing in a variety of shows that included High Fidelity (as well as King Lear and The Taming of the Shrew), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Guthrie Theater. Off-Broadway productions were Romantic Poetry (as well Shakespeare in the Park) and Measure for Pleasure, which were both world premieres. The film debut of Swallow was 2008 with the war drama The Lucky Ones. She has appeared in several world premieres, such as Donald Margulies' The Country House in Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish in Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre opposite Mark Rylance[citation needed]; and John Patrick Shanley's Romantic Poetry in Manhattan Theater Club. In 2010, she received the Falstaff Award, which is presented to the female actress who's performance is the best in a production. The performance she gave as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew as Kate earned her the prize. Swallow along with Jac Huberman, a fellow comedian and singer, co-created the stage play Jac N Swallow in 2012. The show was performed in the New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater, and Joe's Pub. [5] The show centers on the comic misadventures of the two as they navigate very different situations with different levels of dignity and sanity. The show is currently being developed based on these characters. The year 2013 was the year she worked alongside Mark Rylance and poet Louis Jenkins for The world premier of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theater. 1][2] In 2016, she was cast in the production of Center Theatre Group of Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced. Her first TV role was in Guiding Light, and she also appeared in Southland, Ringer, The Good Wife, NCIS, Flight of the Conchords, Medium in the role of series regular The Good Wife, Dr. Michelle Robidaux on TNT's medical drama Monday Mornings[2] and Rizzoli & Isles. [1] Her starring role was FBI Agent Kim Fischer, in The Mentalist. In 2015, she portrayed the character Amara in the 11th season of Supernatural in the role of "the Darkness". She is set to play the Armorer from 2019 on for The Mandalorian, a Star Wars television show. There has been no mention of her in the series as those who are traditionalists wear helmets at all at all times. In Season 3, the character is more prominent as the plot focuses on Mandalorians and their culture, rather than only Mandalorians. Emily Emily Emily
