Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a co-host on the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage in 2012. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan is an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress discussions, such as negotiations for raising the loan limit for federal government as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Her work on general assignments has included reporting regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she was responsible for breaking news coverage as well as feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
