
Kellie Pickler is among "American Idol's" best graduates, despite not winning the show's title. Kellie Pickler, born June 28, 1986 to Cynthia Morton Pickler and Clyde Raymond Pickler in Stanly Memorial Hospital Albemarle. As she got pregnant, her mother was aged 16. Pickler experienced a challenging childhood due to her drug and alcohol dependence, while her mother left her when she was age two. Morton was in charge of Pickler for two years but Pickler said that things were unsettling. "I remember my mother with me were cooking in the kitchen when I said'I'd love God could take me away and I'd rather have my body taken away than to live with you.' She took out a knife set it down on the counter, then informed me that, "Here, you do it." It was fourth grade. I was in fourth grade "Of of course, I wouldn't have done anything about the incident. It has nevertheless caused me a number of emotional wounds." Pickler aged twelve years old, was handed over to Morton's grandparents after the court hearing. Pickler has cited her grandparents as the main influential figures throughout her entire life, was raised by the grandparents. Faye Pickler, the grandmother who took care of her, died of lung cancer in 2001. Her grandfather continued to raise Pickler. Pickler is a graduate of North Stanly high school in New London (North Carolina).
