Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who used to be an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She has been a frequent guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and grew up within Yakima in Washington State, graduated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. The correspondent was a lawyer for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
